Praise Umali debuts ‘September’

After giving a taste of what is inside his album during a listening party on Tuesday night in Lilongwe, Praise Umali will be officially releasing ‘September’.

The long anticipated debut album, has 13 tracks including the bonus track ‘proud’ which has been rocking the airwaves since its release in July last year.

During the session he dished out live performances of ‘Hold you Down’, ‘Left you Better’, ‘Konda ine’ and proud.

Speaking at the listening party hosted by Cynthia ‘Cee Zee’ Zulu, Umali, expressed gratitude to the people that came out regardless of the fact that it was a weekday.

Umali said the album is about self-discovery which paints a picture of what most people go through in their lives.

“September is a journey of finding oneself and I think for the most part people will find very relatable content.”

He further pointed out that the album will also help others who are on a similar journey to rediscovering themselves as they relate.

“They will also find themselves within this album,”  Umali said.
